Agnetha Faltskog

While she's made an impact as a solo artist in Sweden, Agnetha Faltskog will always be best known as a member of 'ABBA' as one of the biggest loved and well-regarded pop bands ever. She left school to pursue music when she was 15, and was soon gaining popularity. With Enghardt's help, she was able to secure the record label and reached the top of the charts in Sweden through her debut release. Bjornulvaeus, whom she later got married to, became her partner and she was a part of ABBA. In the following eight years, 'ABBA' would become one of the top music groups in the world, earning many platinum and gold awards throughout the world. Following ABBA she released three albums - "Wrap Your Arms Around Me', Eyes of a Woman', as well as I Stand Alone'. They were all hugely popular in Sweden. The band were also popular throughout Europe. However, they did not make a huge impact on the American scene. ABBA music was the inspiration for a jukebox-musical called Mamma Mia!. Her album 'My Coloring Books was a huge success, reaching No. 11 on charts for the UK it was made after she came out of her retirement. Her most recent album "A" has been well-received.
